How big was she? It is hard to gauge from the photo? Don't they look prehistoric! I suppose the ground is warming up enough so they can lay their eggs soon. Lynda
Supposedly if you hold them by the tail they can't trun around and bite you! I don't like to get close enough to find out if that little trivia is true. You can see a little pink in her mouth though and you had to get pretty close to take that picture! Lynda

The turtle was about 14 inches in diameter, according to dave, According to me , it was HUGE!! TM
