The Japanese have very cool craft/ needlework books. The photographs are all so artfully done.

My sister gave me this one.








All the patterns are in Japanese, but the photos and diagrams are so good, I think I can just wing it without understanding the text.





Very nice crocheted buttons.

They really seem very cutting edge-the Japanese! I thought that Zakka book looked really cool too.
Are purses and bags very trendy in Japan? Seems like it from the little bit I have seen.

Glad you liked the book.....I can get you lots more in summer if you let me know what kind you'd like. Otherwise, I'll just pick out the ones I think are neat....(only a novice knitter at best........)
