North

It was a short visit to the cabin, but the northwoods never disappoints.

Spring is in full bloom,
the woods are carpeted with trilliums.

A wild strawberry
Young ferns among the rocks.

The weather was lovely for walking

Knitting
And toasting our toes by the fire

It was a short visit, but it was glorious!

I am with you in the northwoods. Every time we go there is something new to look at. A different flower blooming, a new animal roaming our field. Did you know even the misquitoes are out in differnt sizes over the summer. This time was the huge slow ones that you could flyfish with. These are slow to bite. It is the little slow ones later in summer that are the ugly buggers.
