Okay, so I have another fiber habit.....I just love the felting machine! I can not draw AT ALL... so the viewer has to use some imagination to enjoy my product...but that is what art is all about, personal interpretation, right?
I started with some roving and stabilizer....

Added some leaves cut from an old sweater, then felted the whole works to another old sweater...then washed away the stabilizer...

Dave says it looks like a corn stalk in the wind,,, Now we will see who really reads this blog.... I am giving away this lovely piece of ART. All you have to do is comment,,, and in a week I will draw the winners name from the list of commenters..........The winner can call it a tree or a cornstalk or whatever she or he wants to.... I call it fun!

I'm hoping luck will be with me like the last contest, and it will be mine!! MB
A felting machine, how fun. I think it looks like a wonderful old oak tree where I would go as a kid and gather the acorns. What memories that brings back.

I LIKE IT!!!!!! I am thinking spring. A tree with it's new leaves swirling in a fresh spring rain.

IT looks like a tree stump with some pussy willow branches near it. MErc.
My Emily and I think it is very pretty and we could see turning it into a pillow. You know how much we love trees. Linda P
Reminds me of the trees in a picture book version of The Wind in the Willows I had as a kid. Or a wigwam.

It could be a muddy road seen from a high point, thinking spring...when everything starts growing in green and first wildflowers
