Overdue Post
I have been naughty, not blogging much for so long.... I hope Santa is busy watching really naughty folks, like terrorists and auto company execs, and not me.

Thanks to my new specs, I can type and knit and drive and see the dust all over my house....
So what have I been doing?
Friday and Saturday I attended Susan's Fiber Shop's retreat. Hi, Janice!
It was so nice to spend some time with Lynda, she is just so alive! I had a great time, finished up some of my old projects, started before my eyes went bad.
A Holiday baby nugget
More mittens to sell
A Christmas ornament made from a wool blanket
AND,,,,,,, drum roll please......... Slippers custom wet felted to fit my own FRED FLINTSTONE FEET.
Made with Icelandic roving, I learned a lot about wet felting while making these. ( NOTE THE CAT HAIR ON THE HEM OF MY ROBE)

Slippers of wool are just what we need in Wisconsin these days,,, it was 5 below this morning. And more snow is in the forecast. Here is Nick, safe and warm on the inside.
Let's see, what else,,,,,,,,,,,,,we got a new table and chairs Amish custom made ....

Hickory pedestal table and quarter-sawn oak chairs,, ordered in August, they were worth the wait. Our tiny kitchen now looks much bigger. Empty nesters don't need four kitchen chairs, we got just two. Kinda cozy.
I have been doing more things, some worth wrting about, but I have run out of time,,, more tomorrow.
